Car Hire at Faro Airport
Renting a car in Faro & the Algarve
At the arrivals area of Faro Airport terminal you will get several companies offering car hire services. Some of these companies include Auto Jardim, Budget, Avis, Hertz, Europcar, National/Alamo, Rentauto and Sixt. All these companies have their own counters at the arrivals area.
Renting a car is advisable when touring Faro. Faro city offers several sites where one can enjoy their holiday. Whether you are interested in history or luxury, this is one town that has a perfect blend of both. Renting a vehicle allows you to fully enjoy what the town has to offer. The surrounding towns are similarly intriguing and thus a flexible mode of transport is necessary to get the real feel of the Algarve region.
Before you rent
While renting a vehicle, there are some precautions that one should keep into mind. Insurance is one of them. You should also inquire on the extra services such as breakdown covers and surveillance. Most of the car hire companies at the airport offer these services.
